Our Pledge to Carbon Net Zero

Statement of Commitment

LeadStance International pledges to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all operations and value chains by 2040, with an interim target of 50% reduction by 2030. This commitment aligns with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C pathway, the UN Global Compact’s Forward Faster initiative, and the UN’s Race to Zero campaign .

Core Principles

1. Science-Based Action

- Adopt a full-scope emissions approach (Scope 1, 2, and 3) guided by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and the Oxford Principles for Net Zero .

- Prioritize front-loaded emission reductions, focusing on energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and low-carbon logistics .

2. Integration with SDGs

- Directly contribute to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry Innovation), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnerships) through:

- Transitioning to 100% renewable energy by 2030 .

- Implementing circular economy practices to reduce waste by 40% by 2030 .

- Partnering with suppliers to decarbonize 80% of the supply chain by 2035 .

3. Collaborative Leadership

- Join The Climate Pledge (co-founded by Amazon and Global Optimism) to accelerate cross-sector innovation .

- Advocate for policy changes through the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2025, supporting global frameworks for carbon pricing and green finance .

4. Transparent Accountability

- Publish annual Sustainability Progress Reports aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and UN Global Compact’s Communication on Progress (CoP) requirements .

- Disclose emissions data via the UNFCCC Global Climate Action Portal and undergo third-party verification .

5. Ethical Offsetting

- Neutralize residual emissions using high-quality carbon removal credits (e.g., reforestation, direct air capture) by 2040, adhering to the Oxford Principles for Net Zero-Aligned Offsetting .

- Phase out reliance on emission reduction credits by 2035, shifting exclusively to long-term carbon storage solutions .

Implementation Roadmap
